CANCELLATION POLICY
48 Hour Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient.
Derra Perumean, LMT requires full payment of appointment cost at the time of booking. All fees tendered to Derra Perumean, LMT are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes, but is not limited to, single services, packages, and intensive experiences.
48-hour* advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 48-hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. If the client has purchased a package, the session will be deducted from the remaining package. Continuity of care is an important part of the therapeutic process. Frequent cancellations and/or no shows may cause long periods between therapy sessions and impact the effectiveness of treatment. Unexpected events and emergency situations that cause interruption to your scheduled session will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for any reason at any time, regardless of how many sessions are purchased or whether you pay for a package of sessions and do not complete all sessions. Should you provide 48 hour cancellation for your appointment and do not wish to reschedule, you will receive a Gift Certificate to be used in the future as long as company is in business. Should the Company's price increase in the time it takes you to use said Gift Certificate, you will be responsible for any difference in price at the time of scheduling.
No-shows: Anyone who does not arrive to their scheduled session will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for the full payment of their session. If the client has purchased a package or intensive, the session will be deducted from the remaining package. If a client is habitually late or “no-show” said client will be banned from scheduling further appointments.
If you have any questions about services or have any concerns, please reach out via email derraperumean@gmail.com or cell phone 512-426-2717.

*48-hour cancellation time period references the 48 clock hours prior to the start time of the scheduled appointment and includes weekend and holiday time. For example: if your appointment is scheduled for Monday at 11:30am, you will need to cancel your appointment either through the online scheduling software, text, or phone call by the previous Saturday at 11:30am. This is regardless of whether the 48 hour time frame lands on a weekend, a holiday, or a non-working day for Derra Perumean, LMT.
what to wear:
For best results from your treatment, it is requested that you come without any lotion or cream anywhere on the body and that includes the face. For the treatment, Women can wear a 2 piece bathing suit or sports bra and underwear for men running/swim shorts or loose shorts.
Intensives are available
Intensives consist of 4 to 6 hours of treatment in a 3 week period. Intensives are catered to your needs and your goals for healing.
An intensive is a great way to get ahead in your healing journey. This can be so beneficial and can change so much in your pain level and how you feel in your body.
If you are in chronic pain or if you just want to reach the maintenance phase quicker, an intensive is for you.
Contact us to discuss pricing and schedule for an intensive or can be discussed after your first session.
Scheduling Tips
New clients are encouraged to book more than one session initially. It can take up to 3-4 treatments to know if Myofascial Release (MFR) is going to be the therapy for you.
Weekly treatment is strongly suggested for best results until you reach a maintenance schedule. Multiple treatments in a small time frame are not harmful and can be extremely helpful in quickening your progress. If you are interested in weekly treatments, I would recommend looking at doing an intensive program.
